LITTLE ROCK — Ronald “Ronnie” Noel Jones,

of Little Rock, died peace fully June 19, 2021m in Branson, Mo., surrounded by family. He was born in Hope, Ark., on July 8, 1944, to very loving parents, the late Noel “Casey” and Kate Turner Jones.

Pine Bluff is where he was raised and called home, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1962. After graduating from Southern Arkansas University, he served in the Air Force and the Arkansas Air National Guard from 1966-1972. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff.

Ronnie spent his adult life co-owning and working with his family’s businesses — Casey Jones Crane Service and Jones Rigging and Heavy Hauling. In retirement, he moved to Little Rock and enjoyed using his many artistic talents with his sign and graphic business.

He served on many boards including a long tenure at National Bank of Commerce in Pine Bluff, Southeast Arkansas College, the Arkansas Arts Council, the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, the Alumni Board of Southern Arkansas University and the Arkansas Street Rod Association.

As a family friend recently said, “Ronnie was a unique and engaging person.” He greatly enjoyed his friends, family, building custom automobiles, photography, dancing, boating, art and music.

He is survived by his daughter, Autumn Jones Moody, of whom he was very proud; grandsons, Grant (Erin), Chase, Blake and Jaxon Moody; sister, Sonya Jones (Mike Yates); nieces, Lydia Corbell (Caul) and Natalie Townsend ( Taylor); and nephews, Addison Seifritz ( Katy) and Aaron Seifritz (Dannis).

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021, beginning at 12:30 p.m., at Fuller HaleSouth Funeral Chapel in Pine Bluff. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
