Letters for Northwest Arkansas: Submit letters of fewer than 500 words at http://www.nwaonline.com/submit/letter, or email [email protected] with the text “Letter to the editor” in the subject. Not all letters received can be published or acknowledged, but clarity, brevity, context and originality are valued. All submitted material is subject to editing and may be published in all media. Letters and guest commentaries become the property of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Letters must include name, home address and daytime telephone number(s) for verification.

Guest commentaries of 750 words or less may be submitted by emailing [email protected].

Personal attacks and libelous or defamatory statements will not be published. Neither will personal disputes. Guest columns about political candidates are not published.
