SPRING DALE— William Lee McGarrah,

71, of Springdale, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. He was born Sept. 9, 1950, in Springdale to Lon Edward and Ruby Marie (Hite) McGarrah. William was a car enthusiast, could repair or make just about anything, and enjoyed playing the guitar and gospel music. He was highly respected in the flooring industry and owned and operated McGarrah Carpets. Above all he was devoted to his family, loved the Lord and sharing the Bible.

William is survived by his wife, Linda (Argo) McGarrah; four children, Rick McGarrah, Chris McGarrah and wife Kathy, Aaron McGarrah and wife Kristine, Heather Anderson; one sister, Eula Kilpatrick; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Ray Argo; and a sister, Lucille McCarty.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Brush Creek Baptist Church with interment at Thornsberry Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home.
