FAYETTEVILLE — Grace Lee Harvey,

93, of Fayetteville, formerly of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away on Sept. 10, 2021. She was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Robert William and Lily Barling Lee. Grace had a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Arkansas and worked as a Guidance Counselor at Ramsey Junior High until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Raymond Harvey Sr.; one sister, Wynona Rowley; two brothers, Jack and Ray Lee.

Grace is survived by one daughter, Dr. Lee Ann Harvey of Fayetteville, Ark.; one son and daughter- in- law, George Raymond Harvey Jr. and Becky of Telluride, Colo.; two sisters, Betty Owen of Conway and Rosemary Chamberlain of Fort Smith; numerous friends and extended family.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.
