ELKINS — Patti Beavers,

76, of Elkins, passed away on Sept. 7, 2021. Born in Portland, Ore . , Patti moved to Bauxite, Ark., as a teen.

After time spent in California, and graduating from the University of Texas, with a B.S. in Speech, Language and Hearing she followed her love of the land back to Arkansas. Local and loyal to the Arkansas Ozarks for over 50 years, Patti enjoyed time with family and friends, being outdoors, creating art and she was an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon Beavers; her mother, Anna White;

children, Mark Smith and Emily Neal; brother, Doug White; and four grandchildren, Blake, Adrian, Cooper, and Millie.

Although there are no services planned at this time, family and friends are planning a memorial later this Fall in Kingston, as she requested. Please reach out to the family for more information.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, she requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or The Arkansas Audubon Society.

We would like to thank her Circle of Life Hospice caretakers for their kindness and calmness during these difficult last weeks.
