BELLA VISTA — Patricia Marie Baggenstoss,

73, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Fort Smith, passed from this earth on September 4, 2021, in Bentonville. She was born June 25, 1948, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Emmett Joseph and Lillian Marie Richardson Carmody. Patricia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She had a 25-year career as a nurse, including as a director of nurses. Later she became a nursing instructor at WestArk Community College, now UAFS. Following her passion for art, she also continued her education earning her Associates of Applied Science in Graphic Design from SAU Tech where she was on the chancellors list and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. With all of those accomplishments, her proudest moments were the birth of her children, and seeing them complete their education.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Baggenstoss of Everett, Washington; her son, Robert Joseph Baggenstoss and his wife Leslie of Gardner, Kansas; three grandchildren, Aron Robert and Nathan Alexander Baggenstoss, and Ceridwyn Albrechenstoss; a brother, Michael Thomas Carmody; and a niece and nephew, Kathleen Anne and Michael Scott Carmody. She was preceded in death by her parents.

At this time, no public services are scheduled. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
