BENTONVILLE — Lola Jeanne Wynne Cavness,

91, of Bentonville, Ark., died September 14, 2021. She was born September 24, 1929, in Jamesport, Missouri, at home to Leo and Ruby ( Robertson) Wynne. She moved to Rogers, Arkansas, in September of 1939 with her family. She attended Rogers Public Schools, graduating from Rogers High School in 1947. She married Joe Richard Cavness in 1948 in Rogers and lived in Bentonville for the rest of her life. She worked for Pla-Mor Amusement Company, Dyke Lumber Co., Bear Brand Hosiery, Southwestern Bell, Bentonville School District and Bank of Bentonville. Jeanne was a member of the First Christian Church of Bentonville for 41 years and a member of the Disciples Women’s Fellowship for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Jeanne is survived by three children, Marsha Jo and Daryle Stroud of Bentonville, Ark., Joe Fredric and Sue Cavness of Cassville, Mo., Jeffrey Wynne Cavness of Bentonville, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Jimi Michelle and Joe Doty of Hiwasse, Laura Lee Stroud of Bentonville, Joey Brooke and George Wheatley of Centerton, Stephen Joe and Suzanne Stroud of Centerton, Jolena Christine and Mark Knisley of Bentonville, Jeremy Wynne and Abby Cavness of Tulsa, Okla., Amber Nicole and Jared Franks of Gravette, Jody Brant and Jordan Cavness of Stark City, Mo., and John Bradley and Sydnae Cavness of Fulton, Mo.; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois and Don Shores of Cave Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Aurita Cavness of Bentonville, Jerry and Valerie Cavness of Siloam Springs, Janie and Bill Hall of Bentonville, and Jon and Connie Cavness of Bentonville.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 18, at 10 a.m. at the Bentonville Cemetery. Don Morrow of First Christian Church of Bentonville will officiate. Friends are encouraged to visit with the family after the service. Memorials may be given to First Christian Church’s Little Food Pantry or Clothed With Compassion, Bentonville, Ark., or Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Ark.
