FAYETTEVILLE — Leslie “Les” Eugene Price,

age 73, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died on September 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 19, 1948, in Rogers, Arkansas, to Warren and Edith Pearl ( Wishon) Price. Les graduated from Rogers High School in 1968. He married Karen Mellott on January 24, 2000. Les owned and operated his landscaping business and family farm, Rivercrest Angus Ranch. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Elkins, and longtime member of McDonald’s Coffee Club. He was known for hosting his Fourth of July parties, his friendly demeanor and sharp wit, and his love for friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Pearl Price; brother, Bobby Price; and sister, Brenda Price. Les is survived by his wife, Karen Price; five children, Jeff Price and wife Kelly of Fayetteville, Eric Price and wife Yusunn of Seoul, South Korea, Joshua Mellott of Fayetteville, Jessica Farrar and husband Kenneth of Fayetteville, and Alyssa Price of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, three brothers, Allen Price and wife Twila of Rogers, Larry Price and wife Patty of Lowell, and Rick Price and wife Donna of Rogers; and sister, Linda Allen of Centerton.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
