GARFIELD — Sandra Edwards,

of Garfield, Ark., was born August 29, 1950, in Monroe County, Ohio, to Charles and Marilyn (Miller) Stauffer. Sandy passed away August 31 , 2021, in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the age of 71. Sandy was an avid gardener, it was her true passion in life. She loved growing flowers and loved her grandchildren greatly.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 51 years, David H. Edwards; son, David B. Edwards and wife Danielle of West Fork, Arkansas; daughter, Susan D. Hoag and husband Steve of Golden, Colorado; eight grandchildren and one great- grandchild; sisters, Carolyn Cline (Joe) of Seligman, Inez Daugherty (Donald) of Ohio, Mary Kay Viars of Georgia, Tina Marmie of Georgia, Marcella Neil (Dennis) of Texas; brothers, Stephen Stauffer of Georgia, Russell Stauffer (Sheryl) of Texas, Gary Stauffer (Rosemary Wallace) of Georgia, and Daniel Stauffer (Brenda) of Georgia; and many other friends and family who will miss her greatly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marilyn Stauffer; sisters, Shelby Cannady and Patricia Graham; brothers, Charles W. Stauffer Jr. and Harry James Stauffer.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Minister Larry Petton officiating. Memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
