Melanie Fuller has been hired as president of Digital Banking Solutions for Arvest Bank. One of her primary responsibilities will be to lead the deployment of the next generation banking platform. Fuller has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business in Columbus.

Dr. Kaleb Smithson, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in conditions of the hand and wrist, recently joined Baptist Health Orthopedics Clinic-Fort Smith at 1506 Dodson Ave. He earned a medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He treats a wide range of injuries and conditions related to the fingers, hand, wrist and elbow including acute sprains, sports injuries, arthritis, tendonitis and nerve compression such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Dr. Scott Bird, a podiatric surgeon, recently joined Baptist Health Foot and Ankle Clinic-Fort Smith at 5428 Ellsworth Road. He earned his degree at Midwestern University of Health Sciences in

Glendale,

Ariz. He completed a residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Bird treats common ailments of the foot and ankle including arthritis, tendinitis, fractures, tendon ruptures, bunions, hammertoes, foot and heel pain, infections, ulcers, ingrown toenails and peripheral vascular disease.
