Washington Regional receives national stroke care recognition

Washington Regional Medical Center recently received four American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With The Guidelines Achievement Awards. Washington Regional earned the following awards: Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus, Target: StrokeSM Honor Role Elite, Target: StrokeSM Honor Roll Advanced Therapy and the Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. Get With The Guidelines-Stroke was developed to assist healthcare professionals to provide the most up-to-date, research-based guidelines for treating stroke patients.
