FAYETTEVILLE — Jason Bryant Shireman,

55, passed away peacefully in his home in Fayetteville on October 21, 2021. He struggled with his health for only a few months and we are grateful his exit was quick and at home.

He was born on January 29, 1966, in Little Rock, Ark. Three months later he was brought home by his mother and father, Ken and Maureen. Jason was an incredibly bright and inquisitive child. He loved to read, build models and take machines apart to see how they worked. Later in his life he became a highly skilled craftsman with wood and metal and loved working with his hands to design and build. He served as a construction specialist with KSA Architecture as a quality control officer, problem solver and designer of custom applications and details. He ensured that plans where implemented properly and built specialty parts if they where required.

Jason also lived in Florida. There, Jason crewed on world-class sailing boats and honed his sailing skills. His favorite activities were working with his sailboat, watching NASCAR, accessorizing his race car and enjoying the shooting sports, as well as working in the studio adjacent to his house. Jason was a perfectionist when it came to his work and in his private life almost everything he owned was customized to meet Jason standards. His bond and loyalty to his friends was unquestionable and unconditional. You always knew he had your back.

Jason is survived by his father, Ken Shireman; his brother, John Shireman; Angie, Johns wife; and his nephews, Sawyer and Max. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maureen Shireman, whom he loved greatly.

A private family service and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
