A stroll through history
Emre Titizer, a volunteer with the Bentonville History Museum, speaks Saturday while leading a walking tour of historic sights in downtown Bentonville. The tour focused on the history of Bentonville and Benton County. Stops included a home that is now a restaurant that serves apple cider where Titizer spoke about the significance of the apple industry in the area during the early 20th century. He highlighted various architectural features downtown and talked about the history of the Benton County Courthouse on the downtown square. The history museum plans to host more tours that emphasize different topics. Go to nwaonline.com/photos for today’s photo gallery.
