SPRING DALE— Maggie Ellen Bagwell,

age 90 , passed away on March 19, 2023, in Springdale, Ark. She was born in Spring Valley, Ark., on September 3, 1932, to the late Rev. Bruce Phillips and Elsie (Jones) Phillips.

Maggie was a prayer warrior who leaves behind a legacy of the power of prayer to her family. She was a longtime member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist in Springdale, Ark.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, George Bagwell Sr.; and son, Bruce Duane Bagwell.

Maggie is survived by three sons, James Bagwell of Springdale, George Bagwell Jr. (Shirley) of Lowell, and Paul Bagwell ( Connie) of Springdale; two daughters, Donna Burke ( Donnie) of Springdale, and Beth Farmer of Fayetteville; two sisters, Pauline Kennard of Everett, Wash., and Jean Bohannan of Dover, Ark.; 11 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren; five great- great- grandchildren; and a host of extended family.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, a Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist in Springdale, Ark. Funeral service will begin that same day at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Watson and Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Interment to follow at Burkshed Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Bagwell, Adam Bolin, Rodney Burke, Shawn Bagwell, Eric Bagwell, Nathan Bagwell, and Jonathan Isaacs.
