BENTONVILLE — James “Jim” Dennis Taylor, Sr.,

67, of Bentonville, Ark., died March 17, 2023, in Waldron, Ark. He was born August 8, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Rayburn and Elizabeth Davenport Taylor.

James was a LPN for Tyson Foods for many years.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fan. He enjoyed reading, boating, fishing, playing cards and dominoes. He truly loved spending time with his grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gwendolyn; and brother, John Taylor.

He is survived by three daughters, Kara Self (Chris) of Bentonville, Tracie Reno of Bentonville, and Kelly Berryhill (Charles) of Leesburg, Va.; two sons, James Dennis Taylor, Jr. (Hollis) of Tyler, Texas, and Chris Reno of Frankfort, Ky.; two sisters, Casey Taylor Press and Linda Taylor both of Mesquite, Texas; and 12 beautiful grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a. m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made to www. beardsfuneralchapel.com
